Spanish

The language is challenging to get used to no matter how much Spanish class you have had in the past.  The unique thing about EARTH is that there are students from all over Central America, South America, and Africa, so you here all different kinds of accents.  Some speak slower than others, but simply ask “mas despacio, por favor” and they’ll repeat it slower.  

The classes are in Spanish, but the teachers realize the language barrier and are great to work with.  Almost all of them are fluent in English.  Most of the students here know some English and some are fluent.  Many of them will want you to help them learn English or help out in English class.
